Membership Application

  • Your membership dues include your membership for the BC and Canadian CHmabers of Commerce, voting privileges in the Castlegar & District Chamber of Commerce and access to the many Chamber Member Benefits available through each organization. Dues are considered a business expense and are deductible for income tax purposes. The Castlegar & District Chamber of Commerce annual fiscal period runs September 1 - August 31.

    For membership applications received after September 30th, dues shall be prorated accordingly(per month).

    Applicable taxes not included. Membership dues are calculated as follows:

      4-6 Employees $149.00
      7-9 Employees $198.00
      10-15 Employees $259.00
      16-50 Employees $309.00
      51-100 Employees $369.00
      100+ Employees $507.00
    Church or Non-Profit Organizations     $105.00
    Individual Membership**     $50.00
    Associate Membership*** X Employees @50%
    Arts & Entertainment Community Government Groceries Industry & Agriculture Media Communications Recreation Service Groups
  • Any person or business located other than in the city of Castlegar or RDCK Areas I & J that currently holds a membership, in good standing, with another Chamber of Commerce may not apply to the Board of Directors for Associate Membership status. Such memberships will be non-voting, but otherwise will participate in all usual membership priviliges.

    The fee structure for Associate Membership will be 50% of the usual membership fee based on number of employees,. Associate Membership applications must include proof of membership, in good standing, from the originating Chamber of Commerce.

    This policy deals only with personal information handled by the Castlegar & District Chamber of Commerce. Personal information is information about an identifiable individual, excluding business contact information. The policy explains how the Castlegar & District Chamber of Commerce handles personal information. The Castlegar & District chamber of Commerce reserves the right to change this policy and it may be updated periodically. These changes may affect our use of your personal information. Accordingly, please check for changes regularly.
